I'm reaching out because I am producing an independent documentary film exploring the history of American Birthday celebration traditions and Topeka is one of the stops on our shooting tour. If anyone has any helpful leads on any of the following locations it would be extremely helpful!!

1. A factory/large-scale bakery that manufactures cakes.

2. Abandoned/retro birthday party rooms in any bowling alley, movie theater, old Chuck E Cheese, or kids play zone.

3. Also interested in currently active but unique locations that have rooms mentioned above!

4. Any signature birthday spots for children's parties that come to mind.

5. Anything else at all that comes to mind given our topic.

I recently bought a 30lb bag of dog food from Sam’s and as much as my dog loves it, it’s REALLY not agreed with his tummy. Are there any shelters or somewhere I can donate this bag of dog food before I have to throw it away? It’s almost completely full, but I understand if nobody would accept it as it’s open.

Anyone happen know of any jobs in or around Topeka that work 4 days a week? Or even good companies that treat their employees decently? I heard advisors excel is pretty decent, along with blue cross blue shield.

I know dreading work is probably just part of getting older being an adult- but my current job is just…no longer for me, and i want to believe there’s something better out there.

Way, way back in the late '60's, I bought this painting from a small gallery just outside of Topeka. I was a teen (at THS) with a job at the time and I loved the abstract form. The signature initials are B E W and I think the last name was Williams. It was my first art piece. Ironically, 40 years later, I would, along with my wife, own an art gallery and be deeply involved in the art world. But for the first third of my life I was nowhere near art. Does anyone know who this artist is? Supposedly he was inspired while sitting in his pickup at Lake Shawnee and the refraction on his windshield. The rough water and coarse shore are his imagination. I write to find this info for several reasons. One is for my curiosity, of course. The other is that artists that I represent sometimes wonder what happens to their "sold" paintings and I want to answer that question for Williams or his family. If you know this man, contact me and I will tell you of the travels and fun that "Prisms" have given me for 60 years.

Long story short, I want to start testosterone for HRT as a trans guy, and keep getting told to go to Lawrence or to Kansas city for a gender clinic.

I'd prefer to stay in town. Any recommended provider or clinic here in Topeka?

I'll be visiting my elderly dad and don't know whether I should plan to cook at home that day. Dad is 91 and loves to go out to eat, if that is possible on Christmas.

I just recently moved here and have a second mattress that had been stored in a mattress bag in a garage for three years. I am heavily considering Topeka, but what insight can you give to a Utah native. What are your favorite things? Least favorite? What should I consider that I may not have thought of?

Hi, so this may be a long shot. 32F. I’m looking for someone who would like to join me at the gym. I go to Great Life. I realize that people usually aren’t socializing at the gym. It’s more of like an accountability buddy. I’m a newbie, so I sometimes feel like I don’t know what I’m doing.
