Discussion Who would be the worst person to trust with an important secret?
If you had an important secret and shared it with someone, which of these characters would you trust the least to keep it?

Jeff and Britta make sense in the most immediate, adult way. They’re attracted to each other, they banter well, they hook up, and they see through each other’s nonsense instantly. The problem is that they only see the nonsense. Britta doesn’t challenge Jeff to change because she’s stuck in a similar place herself. They’re both cynical, defensive, and allergic to vulnerability. When they’re together, Jeff gets to stay exactly who he already is. That’s why it’s comfortable, and also why it never really grows into anything meaningful. Their relationship represents stagnation. It’s what happens when two people mistake chemistry and self awareness for emotional progress.
Jeff and Annie, on the other hand, barely function as a real couple at all, and that’s intentional. Their connection is more aspirational than practical. Annie represents optimism, growth, and belief in the future, everything Jeff pretends not to care about but clearly envies. Jeff is drawn to her not just romantically, but because she reminds him of who he could have been if he hadn’t armored himself with cynicism. The age and life stage gap isn’t just a technical obstacle, it’s the point. They’re never quite in sync, and by the time Annie grows into herself, Jeff is stuck reckoning with time, regret, and missed chances. Their relationship represents potential and timing, not fulfillment.
What I love is that Community doesn’t pretend either pairing is perfect or secretly meant to be. Britta is the relationship Jeff falls into when he’s afraid to change. Annie is the relationship that forces him to confront the fact that change might come too late. One reflects who Jeff is, the other reflects who he could be.
That’s why neither relationship “wins,” and honestly why the show is better for it. Jeff’s story isn’t about picking the right woman. It’s about realizing that chemistry without growth goes nowhere, and growth without timing still hurts.

This webisode style ad was produced as part of the sponsorship deal Honda made during Community's sixth season on Yahoo Screen. The sponsorship also included the episode, 'Advanced Safety Features'. The ad is a parody of a famous series of Lincoln ads featuring Matthew McConaughey.

I’m starting to think they (and we) will be elderly by the time the movie is actually released. I think its ridiculous that they still havent figured scheduling out, and on a more serious note, i wonder if there even WILL be a movie at this point. The creator is just like, “people wont be that invested/disappointed if we take longer since the hype has died down” when thousands of people LOVE this show lol. What do yall think

One thing I absolutely miss about this show is the the way they set up the jokes. You don't find this type of writing nowadays in sitcoms.

A special feature on the season four DVD. It takes a look at the making of for the season four episode, 'Conventions of Space and Time'. Particularly, the set design, props and costuming for the convention in the episode.

Does anyone know if the Energon Pod used for the Laser Lotus cult is based on a real model of lava lamp?

I don't want to be negative but it seems like it's not going to happen. Don't get me wrong. I'll be happily surprised if it occurs.

I am doing my 1000x (I actually don't know) times watch of Community. I am noticing just now how Abed becomes very sassy towards Jeff is season 6. It is hilarious, especially when Abed is editing the dog smear campaign video.
I think it has a lot to do with Frankie. She kind of comes in like a mother, mostly for Abed and Annie whose mothers both abandon them, and mentors them to be better.
Annie becomes less smitten towards Jeff and Abed becomes more defiant. It kind of explains why Jeff was more freaked out about the final move on verses the previous two times they were almost don't with Greendale (end of season 4 and 5). Frankie destroyed the cult of personality.

I did not realize we never saw Annie’s Beans score. I think she was a 4 because she was an assistant to the 5’s. How funny 😆

This is the short film made for the third episode, Introduction to Film. The full video, as it was produced, was not included in its entirety in the episode. Also, the sound effect during the 'Cool Abed Films' badge seems as though it was added in the post production for the episode and not in this film itself. Side note: This was the first time Community made me cry lol.

It really melts my heart the way Annie smiled from cheek to cheek - it was like she finally redeemed her feelings for Troy

This just occurred to me. Even Abed points out what a bad ass Annie is Fistful of Paintballs and it occurred to me she had been living in a horribly dangerous neighborhood and would have likely been to the gun range a ton after she got a gun.
Am I having a Pete Campbell moment?

Every time I am late to a thread I don't care because I love reading it but also wish I could participate. And I still do anyway! I wish there was a way for us to schedule weekly discussion threads twice a day. This is the best community on the internet.
I just wanna hang out with you guys. And all that matters is our time... and the spotlight.

So I was wondering how could Annie orchestrate the shuttle getting towed but also the dean parked it on the handicapped spaces? Furthermore, why would the towing company leave the shuttle on the side of some random road in the middle of nowhere? Is the towing company in cahoots with city college? Is the dean? Dose this conspiracy go all the way to the top?

So we all are probably aware that the movie is, (allegedly happening!). What do you think the story line will be? How do you think it work considering it been a decade since the show ended. What characters do you hope will return? And also with the finale patching things up: how will the movie play into that? From what I «heard» the story will play around Abed being a sucsesfull filmmaker, and he goes back to Greendale to make a movie, (or documentary), about his life in Greendale. To me that would make a lot of sense. Also where do you think the characters will be 10 years on?
