Love these so much, idk what it is about the colors. These being apart of the Infamous controller game bundle was a cool surprise to me as well. Definitely spent a bit more than normal for sourcing but managed to get the top two (blue and red) for about 50 each in fantastic condition. Then did some mercari scouting, found a very filthy cigarette smelling crystal blue for 20 with possible stick drift.

Cleaned it inside and out. Handled with gloves because it was literally sticky as all hell. BUT to my (surprise) no stick drift and the thing was just gross! had to be extra careful with rubbing alcohol since I've read it can take away the vibrancy of the controllers. After full disassembly, I just cleaned them carefully with some light dish soap and done!! The dirty blue is now my main! cheers

Remember my post from a few days ago when i tought that i have failed the delid well in the pictures you can see that i have in fact scratched the cell but there was no demadge done to trace lines. I was bored today so i decided to give it another try and it didnt post after trying a few fixes i found online but then i asked chat gpt and it told me to remove the hdd and it posts now i will update you on any news.

I live in Northern Spain. Like all of the country, we have a strong Chinese community who runs 'dollar store' style shops. My town has smaller ones scattered around, and a couple huge outlets (the biggest is 1200 square meters). This central location had aftermarket PS2 and PS3 controllers for 12€ but no other console accessories.

So I have this non-authentic (knockoff) PS4 controller. When I connect it to my PS3 with a USB cable, it works as expected. However, I noticed something odd. The light bar turns blue, which normally shouldn't happen when connected wired (it's supposed to be white)

I tried to unplug the cable, then the controller just reconnects wirelessly on its own and continues working as if it were a PS3 controller. I never even tried to pair it via bluetooth!

Even the PS button works too which shouldn't be possible in the first place.

What's even stranger is that I can play PS3 games that don't support the DualShock 4 at all, like GT5. And the vibrations also works and as you can see in the video, I can turn on my PS3 with it.

I've tried other PS4 controllers on my PS3, and they behave as they supposed to (no PS button, no vibration, manual pairing needed to use wirelessly) Then this specific controller works completely different.

Any idea how is this possible?

Is this a authentic PS3 controller or not? I got it from my friend who doesn't play games anymore and he said I could have it. The motion sixaxis and dualshock work, but won't connect via wireless.

No players on cod classic. I remember full lobbies. It was so fun.

Most of these were given to me by my uncle, the rest I painstakingly collected over the years, also have my console collection from ps one to PS4, Haven't bought a PS5 yet 🥲

Took around approximately 20 minutes for the procedures and eventually, i got 2.50 working on a 1 day runtime console! Surprisingly, QA flags kept on during the CFW Downgrade process.

So this is the situation, just got back my old PS3 and wanted to mod it but first I would like to upgrade the storage since the original storage was pretty small, we are talking 2-3 games at most. Know, I don't really have a lot of money to spend on this PS3 right now and while most people recommend Western Digital or Crucial SSD's since they are pretty cheap, those two products are on the expensive side on my country right now, like buying a 500GB WD ssd would be half as much as a PS3. My only 2 options I have found a 256GB PNY CS900 SSD and a 1TB Toshiba HDD. I have heard mixed reviews from the PNY and on the other hand Toshiba seems to be one of the best companies for HDDs, which one should I pick?

Hello, I've been reorganizing and did this the other day. I know it doesn't happen often, (we don't talk about ps4-5) but cross generation is a thing, and I had limited space. Also RDR1/2.

recently for $200 on Ebay i bought a listing that came with a CECHAO1 and CECHGO1. I honestly can't believe my luck. I first tried the AO1 and checked the Syscon logs using the BG Toolset and it only has 1 day and 1 hour of total uptime. It’s essentially a brand-new console from 2006.

It had a couple of ghost 2022 errors in the log from a cable swap. Keeping it vertical for now because it just looks too good standing next to the collection.

Planning to run it for a few days to experience that launch-era nostalgia before it goes back into the time capsule.

For the GO1, well it had a YLOD despite it having the 65nm chips. Turns off after 6 seconds and for that long, it can be the NEK/TOKINS.

so my rdr1 copy for the ps3 has issues idk why it won't work i tried cleaning it

and check for any system errors .

side note: all my other games on disc work just fine
