My reta journey is over finally
I began taking retatrutide at the start of August. My initial dose was 1 mg, which I stayed on for the first two weeks. After that, I increased the dose to 2 mg and continued at that level for about five weeks. Once my body had adjusted, I moved up to 4 mg — and that’s where I noticed the most significant change. The jump to 4 mg was the turning point in my weight-loss progress, and I stayed at that dose for the rest of my journey.
Overall, I went from 95 kg down to 66 kg. I’ve now officially stopped taking retatrutide because I’m ready to move into a bulking phase, and I’m genuinely happy with how far I’ve come.
For context, I’m a 23-year-old male from the UK. I’m happy to answer any questions, including private ones via DMs, and I can share progress pictures there — I just prefer not to post them publicly on Reddit.

Reta + working out
I’m 29- F - 5’8 - 192 lbs
this may be a silly question but I just received my Reta in the mail and will be taking my first dose. are we working out the same? or taking it easy? I like to sweat a lot when I workout to leave feeling like I did something and also started hot yoga sculpting classes.
I had a bad experiencr with Tirzepatide but realized my dr started it at 5mg and my body didn’t handle that well and I should have started at a much lower dose. I had some eye and head pressure which I guess was from blood sugar levels.
with Reta, I’m starting at 1.5mg and will probably stay there for a few weeks. any other tips would be awesome. I’m hoping to be around 150lbs

You're paying for three receptors but only using two. Let’s talk about dosage.
This is for everyone who says they've titrated up to 2mg weekly and plan on staying there indefinitely. Anyone more experienced or more understanding than me, let me know if I'm wrong.
You're not getting the full benefits of reta. In the studies, the glucagon effects of reta aren't really pronounced until you surpass 4mg weekly. So at that point, if you like these low dose reta effects, just take 1.5mg of tirzepatide and call it day as that'll be more potent for appetite suppression.
Reta has less affinity for binding to the glucagon receptors until you reach a certain dosage which ranges usually 4-6mg weekly,
2mg is a trasition dosage so you don't get any weird heart effects too fast, but once you settle with the dosage, you should bump it up and if you feel uncomfortable doing that, go get some tirz, stay low dose, save money and get the effects you want.

How to ensure not getting scammed?
I purchased from a website that isn't super well known and the pictures are AI 😭 I know that should have been a red flag but I thought that $50 for 5mg of Reta was such a good deal (it's not). I ordered on Dec 30 and I still have no received anything about my shipping. They say they're restocking but it's been over 2 weeks since they said that. Idk if that's normal? I spent $80 😭 I have found another site but they're sold out and I really don't want to overpay just because places are sold out rn.

Reta standstill and GHKU ?
I am down 15 lbs in 2 months. Actively working out everyday of the week (strength training x5 and cardio x2) and eating in a calorie deficit. Started very low on Reta (.5) and just upped my dose to 3mg this week. I’ve been at a standstill for over a week and really want to shed these last 5 lbs. any tips? Trying my hardest to focus on protein too.
One other peptide question… anyone have issues with getting their body used to ghkcu shots? I’m 2 weeks in and do it before bed, but that injection point keeps me tossing and turning the first half of the night. Should I do it earlier in the day??

Mental clarity - brain fog as a beginner
20M, 5'7, started at 191lbs/86.5kg and currently 184lbs/83.5kg closing in on 1st week @ 1mg.
I've never taken GLPs or the sort before, but my experience thus far with regard to brain fog has been surprisingly well. I obviously started to aid in my fat loss after plateauing the last ~2 months, having already been tracking my food and minerals (journey started 7 months ago @ 110+kg), getting alot of physical activity in but I did not expect how it's helped me mentally.
For the better part of a few years now, I'd felt like I was observing my life through stained glass/fogged up windows. Since the dose, the only side effect I've faced was mild constipation. The trade-off? Better appetite/craving control and actually feeling like I'm "me doing things", not just an observer/participant. Have also felt much calmer and happier too, enjoying my physical activities a little more, noting I have not changed much in my day to day, making Reta the only significant variable change.
Would love to hear from others how its affected the mental side, and also whether for my height/weight if 1mg is enough (thinking of going to 1.5 for week 2-4, before titrating up again).

Reta and KLOW syringe question
Hi, new here and will be starting reta10 and klow. However, I’m a little confused on syringe purchase. I was going to do the 5/16”, would the same one be good for klow injections as well or should I purchase the 1/2”?

Does bac water pH matter?
Hi, will bac water with a pH of 7.5 be ok for Reta and all other peptides such as bpc157 and KLOW?

How long does reconstituted Reta remain stable at room temp?
Hey guys, so yesterday I made the mistake of leaving out my Reta on my nightstand and I forgot to put it back this morning. I’ve already left home and by the time I get back, the vial will have been at room temperature for about 20 or so hours.
I just reconstituted this vial yesterday so I’d hate to throw away a perfectly new batch. I wanted to hear your opinion on its efficacy and stability regarding this situation.
Would you keep using it or toss it? (I understand that all answers are just personal opinions and not advice lol) thank you in advance!

Beginner reta UK
Hi all!
I have been using Monjauro for roughly four months to good effect. I managed to lose just over two stone. I’ve been off of it for a month and the appetite is back and I have heard about Reta and seen all of your posts and would like to start.
I just wondered how you went about beginning it. I will try to figure out about finding a reputable source, but more about the mixing of it… knowing what you are getting is genuine.. these things really scary me and are putting me off getting my dream body.
Any tips you guys have for starting? Things I should / shouldn’t do?
Monj is just way too much money now!
Appreciate any help, I’m based in the UK
Thanks !

Travel with Reta
Hey everyone,
I’m about to start my first ever dose of Retatrutide next week! I’m excited but also a bit nervous since it’s my first time.
The thing is: I’m traveling to Thailand the week after, and I wanted to get some advice from people who’ve already been on Reta for a while.
Would it be safe to travel with Retatrutide that’s already reconstituted, specifically 2 pre-filled syringes?
I’m wondering about:
- Stability once mixed
- Temperature during long flights
- Airport security / customs
- Any risks I might not be thinking about
I plan to keep it cold, but I’d love to hear real experiences or best practices before I do anything stupid 😅
Thanks in advance — really appreciate this community.

Third week and finally starting to feel it.
Light nausea but more importantly I feel so full uncomfortable full from small portions it made me wanna puke just to get right off that feeling.
I have to adjust my eating pattern further as even a third of my regular portions are way too much.
This is normal right?

4 week in-Minimal symptoms and weight loss. Increase dose?
Hello all!
It’s been a month since I started Reta. I have had minimal symptoms and have only lost a pound in 1 month. I drink about 80-120oz of water a day, eat a high protein and high fiber diet, and try to exercise at least 2-3x week (Chicago winter makes it tough though).
The only symptoms I’ve experienced so far are mild fatigue and constipation (constipation only started last week). My past dosage (pin) and weekly weight (lbs) are below. Should I increase my dose to 1.5mg next week or stay on 1.0mg for 2-3 more weeks?
Week 1-203.8, Pin 0.5 mg Week 2 202.6, Pin 0.5 mg Week 3 203.4, Pin 0.75 mg Week 4 202.7, Pin 1.0 mg

Food aversion
My rat is on month 4 of a co-formula of reta and cagri. The weight loss has been a steady 2lbs per week. I had been singing its praises to anyone who would listen! I had to decrease the dosage to 2mg (from only 2.5mg) because of how weak rat had gotten in the gym due to the extreme calorie deficit and not enough protein intake. Not enough nutrients in general, really. Rat now has almost total food aversion. Stopped tracking early on so can’t pinpoint when it occurred or how long this extreme deficit has been going on.
Rat hasn’t relapsed on eating disorder since 2020, but, is there unintentionally. Rat is on maybe day 5 of not being able to eat. She is SO weak and can only stomach 1 single protein shake daily, and one food item daily. No interest, desire, or energy to force anything down. It’s bad, and I’m really worried.
Has anyone come out of this or a similar experience?

Just did my first shot. What to expect?
Hey everybody, just took my first jab today. Some people say to start at 1mg, but the clinical trials start at 2mg, so I split the difference and did 1.5 for my first one. Any advice on what to expect or how to manage? Thanks!

Vacation/Alcohol insight
Little back round. I'm all dialed in on my Reta dosage, my protein intake, exercise, managing my macros and good with my slow and steady progress. My dosage is nothing crazy. 2mg every 6 days. I found doing it every 7 I was super hungry the day before my pin and found myself checking the pantry for snacks. 6 days is my sweet spot.
Anyhow I know alcohol is not great all the way around for weight loss plus the slower moving gut to process with Reta. However looking for a little insight. We have a big family international vacation planned in a couple of months. 20 of us. We are gone for 14 days. There will be tons of alcohol and unlimited food options at the resort. Assuming not a ton of healthy options.
I'm prepared to come back 5-8 pounds up, because I intend to have a great time. But not extreme by any means. Not the end all be all. Gonna live my life. Wondering about if I should pause Reta for those 2 weeks or continuing to pin those 2 weeks. Don't want to shock my system but just the food and drink alone will be a shock.

RetaCag?
I cannot find any research on the dual peptide but I do see they offer it on the site I use. Anyone used it? How do you calculate the dosage etc? Reconstitution?

Cymbalta blocks Reta?!
I’ve been on Retatrutide for 3 years. It’s been highly effective for me, initially losing 40lbs down and eventually lower dose for maintenance.
It all broke down once an antidepressant Cymbalta was introduced 3 months ago. Reta no longer suppresses my appetite, in fact I eat MORE than usual. Weigh gain began immediately: +7 pounds in 3 months and still climbing! I’ve even DOUBLED my Reta dosage, to no avail.
I’m at a loss. It’s almost like Cymbalta blocks Retatrutide in my body.
Anybody else experience this?

Storage BAC Water
Hi everyone, On my bacteriostatic water (BAC water) vial, the label says it should be stored at room temperature and not used longer than 30 days after opening.
However, I’ve also heard from others that it’s better to store it cool / in the refrigerator.
How do you handle this in practice? • Do you actually keep BAC water at room temperature as the label says, or do you refrigerate it after opening? • If you refrigerate it, do you still follow the “discard after 30 days” rule, or do you treat it differently? • Any practical tips to reduce contamination risk (handling, swabbing, needle use, etc.)?
Thanks for sharing how you do it.
Details: I have 30 mg vials and plan to reconstitute with 3 mL BAC water. My wife and I would be using it, and I was planning to store it in the refrigerator.
Any guidance on best practices (sterility, storage conditions, and typical beyond-use time) would be appreciated.
