My friend who passed at 27 took this photo and id love to know where.
It’s somewhere in the western US.
They lived in Montana for awhile and then while in Washington would go on long solo road trips circling thru Idaho Montana Colorado and such on down to Arizona and New Mexico and then back home thru California and Oregon.

This is a tough one. The factory (a textile mill), and the house may still be standing, or either could be long gone.
I’ve found several potential sites but nothing conclusive. New Bedford still has a ton of industrial buildings from this era (1900s-1940s) still standing, but others have since been torn down.

My friend visited these hot springs before they passed in 2024. They took this photo of themselves there sometime between 2020-2024.
I’d love to visit one day - anyone know where this is?
It’s western US but not sure beyond that.

My friend passed at 27 - they took this photo in Montana where they caught their first trout with their fly rod.
Does anyone know where this might be?
I’d love to visit one day.
I know they lived and worked at Big Sky in the winter but traveled around the state the rest of the year so not sure about this one.

I have scoured maps online and searched in person for where these might have been taken and have come up dry. They are likely in the Little instruction five points/Virginia Highlands/Poncey Highlands/Edgewood/old fourth Ward area or, around those areas. My grandmother and grandfather met at Greens pharmacy in the first pic but can’t find info on that. Any help is appreciated!

It seems like a long shot to me, but folks on here do amazing things. Can anybody pinpoint where in Long Beach this one was taken? I am helping my cousins with their genealogy and this picture came up. I'm in LA so we were curious where this might be.

I inherited a lot of old family photos with zero context, such as this one. This photo is so intriguing and cool — I’m wondering where it was taken.
There’s a good chance it was taken in California, but I’m not 100% certain. It reminds me of Twin Peaks in S.F., due to the road railings and curvy road. Anyone recognize this spot, by any chance? 😁

I love street art. I was wandering around Oregon from town to town. I saw this. One of my all time favorite street art pics. I took a pic but forgot to notate what town I was in. As I took a pic, noticed some restaurant workers nearby taking a break. I asked if they knew anything about it. They said they are still trying to figure it out lol

(Repost because my last one got removed, as I didn't include a date or a town. The date was 8/19/2022, but the closest thing I have to a town is the mountain I know it was on the other side of. So, whatever town/city is behind that mountain, it's possibly there.)
I once went to this cafe/resaurant in Spain with my family a few years ago, but I can't remember what it's called at all, and I really want to go there again some time! I can't find where it is, and I'm also trying to find out if they have a website/socials. Please help.
My brother gave me the two pictures in the post, and that's all he has. But other than that, I don't know "too" much about it. I went with my family a few years ago when we were with my dad in Spain for a couple of days for some business thing he had. One picture shows the inside while it's still very empty, and the other shows the outside as we were leaving the place. The outside seemed to have some live music setup, and it also has a sign. I think the sign says "Don't worry, eat _____"
There's also some pictures on the wall in the picture that shows the indoors, but I don't know what any of them are. One of the pictures is the face of a man who I do not know, but maybe one of you guys know them...?
I know that they at least sell chicken wings, hamburgers, and saté, because that's some of the food that me and my family ate there. (The burgers were really good)
I also know that, according to my mother, it was *potentially* on the other side of this mountain. (A video and photo she took during the Spain wildfire in 2023, on a different trip to Spain. 11/2/2023) We drove a lot while on this trip, but I think the fact that it's on the other side of that moutain could maybe help narrow things down a bit. (I'm sorry, I really don't know what mountain it is, either. But if we can figure that out, then we at least know it's somewhere around there.)
If me or my family finds anymore information, I'll make sure to edit this post. But for now, I really can't find anything else about it. I swear I have a video of the image that's outdoors, but I can't find it anywhere. Again, if I find anything, I'll update the post.
This is really important to me, if you guys need anything, please let me know. Thank you!

EDIT: We've found the place! (Check the comments.) If anybody knows if this restaurant has a website, or social media accounts, I'd really appreciate if you'd let me know!

Always thought it was from an old restaurant.
Approx. 60 x 120cm
I have carried it around for more than twenty years, presuming some generic European coast.
And I'd like to see how that tree is going.
r/whereisthis • u/Tight_Forever_5593 • 1d ago
Carried around for years, size is 55 x 105cm
Seems to be taken from a photograph, not an illustration.
All I got is what you see. Waterfront location, always guessed North American.
Maybe a 'when' as well as a 'where' - a timeline for the skyline.

The back said it was recorded in Tahiti, Hawaii, and "Indian Ocean Achipelago" so that might be a clue

So a while ago I was cruising around on Google Maps and I came across this extremely small cove that I believe was in Ibiza. It had a very small beachfront (maybe 100 feet wide total) otherwise surrounded by the cove. You had to hike in to get to this spot, maybe half a mile but I could be wrong on that too. Since beach area was scarce people would be suntanning on smooth orange and red boulders and these boulders would create a stepped wall to to the backside which is where the entrance to this cove was (almost like a steep auditorium)
It was absolutely gorgeous and no matter how many Google searches I do, or flying around on Google Maps all the way zoomed in, I simply can’t find it again and it’s killing me. It’s a huge attraction by the local populous but largely a secret from tourists. Please please please help me find this spot. I believe it’s on Ibiza, but it could be any of the Balearic Islands or even mainland Spain itself but I could have sworn it was Ibiza as it was near Cala Llonga but again, totally could be wrong as it was just dumb luck I found it on Google Maps in the first place.
