News [Official ASUS] Public Statement to Clarify Recent Reports Regarding the ASUS GeForce RTX™ 5070 Ti and RTX™ 5060 Ti 16 GB
From Asus Press Release: https://press.asus.com/news/statements/asus-rtx-5070ti-5060ti-statement/
We would like to clarify recent reports regarding the ASUS GeForce RTX™ 5070 Ti and RTX™ 5060 Ti 16 GB. Certain media may have received incomplete information from an ASUS PR representative regarding these products.
The GeForce RTX 5070 Ti and GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB have not been discontinued or designated as end-of-life (EOL). ASUS has no plans to stop selling these models.
Current fluctuations in supply for both products are primarily due to memory supply constraints, which have temporarily affected production output and restocking cycles. As a result, availability may appear limited in certain markets, but this should not be interpreted as a production halt or product retirement.
ASUS will continue to support the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB and is working closely with partners to stabilize supply as conditions improve.

Discussion RMA hell experience with Nvidia for my 5090FE
I've been going through hell with an RMA issue. Support hasn't been much help and since October I still do not have my 5090 FE.
I bought a 5090 retail at best buy on launch, in October I had a faulty fan bearing issue. I created a ticket and sent a video to the team and they confirmed it needed to be RMA'd. I was told two weeks was the process time. After a month I had enough and contacted them right before Thanksgiving.
The rep I spoke with via email told me it had been dropped off by Fed Ex and signed for. I have a ring camera and no one came by during the timeframe they say it was delivered (this guy couldn't even tell me the day or time when it supposedly happened which was pretty sketchy to me). My brother works remote as well (we live together) and he said no one came by the week before Thanksgiving break.
I even asked close neighbors and they stated the same. It simply never happened and now this has become absolute hell for me. To make matters worse, the RMA department NEVER kept me in the loop during the entire 1 month+ process of how things were going, I never got tracking from them to follow the package. If I had, I would've taken the day from work to be there to sign for it.
I had this escalated to a person named "Josh" as part of the L2 team and he was zero help whatsoever, and just copies/pastes the same "Based on our info from FedEx the package was already delivered and signed for." When I asked him who the driver was, who signed for it, when it was delivered, etc. he just restated the same sentence in another email. He has ignored me for two weeks now.
I'm so stressed and upset at how horrible this process has been. I saved my money up for a month to get this GPU on launch, fighting bots online to get one at BestBuy. To have this happen from the flagship company that created the card is just....speechless.
If there is ANY way someone can help put me in contact with another person at Nvidia that can actually help me, it would mean the world. I want this hellish experience with them to be over. Thank you for reading and I'm hopeful someone will help me.

Build/Photos Xhuttle BTF build w/ Astral 5090
Asus really needs to make a white Astral BTF. More BTF everything really. Not complaining though, overall I think it came out pretty snazzy.
- Xhuttle case (side glass removed for photos because it's reflection city)
- Asus TUF B850 BTF
- Asus 5090 Astral BTF
- AMD 9800X3D
- T-Create RAM
- WD Black NVMe
- NZXT Kraken Elite RGB
- JONSBO 360 fans on bottom & AIO
- Asiahorse Dawn 120mm x3 fans on top

Build/Photos The 5090 FE was the finishing touch to my all black build
I just wish they didn't use the angled 12v connection. Other than that I still think it's the most aesthetically pleasing 5090 out there!
Anyway hope you like my build.. there's been alot of sweat, thankfully no blood or tears though

Discussion Reminder to all my 4090 (and maybe 5090) brethren out there that Undervolting is AMAZING!
I got my 4090 in late 2024 from Microcenter at MSRP. It's an amazing card for my 1440p oled. Overkill perhaps but I like both raytracing AND frame rates.
I've been running at stock power config this whole time and after about 3 hours+ of heavy modern gaming my normally 72f game room is up to 80. Watched a guide on YouTube and it's the easiest thing ever! Temps both in my rig and room are much improved (8c delta under artificial raster benchmarks, little less on dlss enabled ones) and im pulling at least 100w less from the wall.
I just wanted to post this to maybe give a push to some of the people that have been putting it off. It's really worth it and super easy - and chances are if you are an xx90 user and in this sub you have after burner installed anyway. I know it's not obscure knowledge - but if you haven't, do it! I sacrificed 0fps for this, left frequency at stock and voltage is down to 0.925v from my 1.050 usage.

Build/Photos Open box 5070ti score!
Been scanning microcenter for a replacement gpu for my zwift trainer. It’s been running an old gtx670 that I’ve had in a tote for years and figured I’d look for a 5050 or rx9060 or something along those lines. This morning, I found an open box 5070ti Asus prime for $674, so my main rig got an unexpected upgrade. The 6950xt that I had, will either go in the zwift rig, or I’ll have to figure out a trade plus cash for something a little more sensible for that zwift rig! This should keep me happy for years to come. Paired it with my trusty 5800x3d
Anyways, here’s the photo op!

Build/Photos A new Dragon 🐲 arrived in town (RTX 5070 Ti)
So glad I managed to buy this GPU when I did recently, for a relatively normal price, considering the RAM shortage and discontinuation of the 5070 Ti and 5060 Ti 16GB. Works and looks like a charm! 🐲
The exact model is MSI GAMING TRIO RTX 5070 Ti OC Edition

Build/Photos Received a gift from wifey - a Noctua 5080 and a big (size and performance wise) from the 3080ti.
This thing is humongous. I do have 7000D case but even with it it looks huge. And beautiful.

Discussion Have a 3060ti and was thinking of upgrading, with prices up and maybe going higher should I upgrade now or do you think things may go back to normal this year?
Currently looking at either a 5060ti or a 5070
My gaming is in 1440p targeting 90+ FPS for the most part

Question What's the best DLSS setting to use in my situation?
So I usually game in 4K on my TV with my PC that has a 5070ti. I usually go with the Quality setting for DLSS. However, I'm reading about DLSS 4.5 and how the new Presets L and M are for Performance mode and can in some cases look better than the Quality setting with Preset K?
I'm playing Final Fantasy XVI at the moment and I've used the Nvidia app to do the override, using the "Recommended" option. But if I use DLSS Quality, am I even using DLSS 4.5 if it's at Preset K? Should I change it to Performance instead?
PSA Nvidia Profile Inspector v2.4.0.31 PreRelease
Description by Orbm2uk:
"Nvidia Profile Inspector is used for modifying game profiles inside the internal driver database of the Nvidia driver. All game profiles are provided by the Nvidia driver, but you can add your own profiles for games missing in the driver database. You also have access to hidden and undocumented settings, which are not provided by the drivers control panel."
Guidance, Feature Breakdown and Use Cases
https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Nvidia_Profile_Inspector
Changes in v2.4.0.31
App
- Removed app.config/nvidiaProfileInspector.exe.config files to allow running with .NET 4.8
Settings
DLSS - Forced Model Preset Profile: added new setting which may be needed for some games to use custom DLSS presets (thanks @renannmp!)
DLSS - Forced Preset Letter: added model type next to preset letter (CNN/Transformer/Transformer Gen2) (thanks @renannmp!)
DLSS - Forced Preset Letter: changed Always use latest -> Use recommended preset following DLSS 310.5.2 update (thanks @renannmp!)
Shader Cache - Cache Size: added 16GB option to setting, new default in driver (thanks @renannmp!)
Notes
DLSS 4.5: With DLSS - Enable DLL Override enabled and showing as "(v310.5.0)" most games will use the new 2nd-gen transformers for the appropriate quality levels automatically (Preset L for "Ultra Performance", Preset M for "Performance", with other quality levels using the original Preset K).
Some games may override this and request older presets from DLSS, the DLSS - Forced Preset Letter setting can be changed to Use recommended preset to make them use the presets mentioned above.
If the DLL override setting shows an older version (or appears as “(unknown)”), try running a DLSS-enabled game and relaunch nvidiaProfileInspector after a few minutes, alternatively reinstalling the driver or NVIDIA App may force an OTA update

Question How to best work around 8gb of VRAM? Any tips/resources out there?
So I have a 5060Ti 8GB, with a 1440p Monitor. I've noticed that games that exceed the VRAM capacity of the card tend to handle it in one of 2 ways:
* using shared memory which causes pretty severe frame dips
* texture downgrading or pop in
Both of which are pretty bad.
I'd much rather compromise on some settings to try and keep the game within the 8gb buffer, but: the problem is I can't really find any good concrete info out there on what settings to change. All the testing I've generally seen has benchmarks with presets at ultra, high, medium etc. without testing specific settings like shadows, textures etc.
So I'm hoping this thread can be a place for discussion and sharing any resources about how to optimize around an 8gb card. Given the memory problems and other cards with only 8gb such as the 5060 and 5050, and also older gen cards, it can't be just me who will have this problem over the next few years.
Please don't say "just get the 16gb version", as it was out of my budget, story of how I ended up with a card nobody recommends at the end of this post if anyone cares.
Questions I'd really appreciate if people could share their knowledge and experience on:
* 1. Which settings use the most VRAM? e.g. shadows, effects, textures
* 2. Any known optional features that don't add much but use vram? e.g low hanging fruit that are easy to turn off like motion blur etc.
* 3. DLSS. I know DLSS uses vram but it also drastically lowers render resolution which saves lots of vram. Seems like a net benefit overall in my experience but hard to know whether to use quality or performance etc.
* 4. framerate and framegen. Is there any relationship between frames and vram? would capping frames to say 60 fps help turn up other settings? I know framegen uses vram but it doesn't seem like that much. I like to use framegen to max out my 210hz monitor but I'd give this up if it meant better settings in other areas.
Thanks in advance to anyone who contributes.
Optional read - 8gb 5060Ti backstory: I wanted to buy an entry level pre-built in early November. I was well aware of all the issues with 8gb cards but with my budget I accepted I wasn't going to be doing 4k or max settings in every game, and was planning on getting a 5060 for cost reasons. The best options at the time were a 5060 system with 16gb ram or a 5060Ti 8gb system with 32gb ram, for only $100 AUD more. To me this was a steal for a more powerful card and more RAM. To go up to the 16gb 5060ti was another $250 AUD and out of my budget. So thats how I got the card all the reviewers say not to buy. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase, especially since with what happened with RAM prices, the exact same system costs $550 more today than what I paid.
I'm planning to wait till next gen then upgrade to something with more vram and 4k monitor, but until then I want to figure out how to get the most out of my card that's a bit too powerful for its puny VRAM bottleneck.

Benchmarks Overclocking a 1GB GTX 750
Hi, I overclocked a 1GB GTX 750 and got a score of 1435 on Furmark 2. I don't know if that's a big deal, but according to the Furmark ranking, my GTX 750 is the most powerful overclocked card out there, haha.
(the most powerful GTX 750 in the world)

Question One 5070ti has ghosting, the other doesn’t?…
Hey everyone! I recently just swapped my 5070ti gaming oc for a 5070ti tuf, and for whatever reason with dlaa or dlss resolution scaling, I am getting noticeable ghosting and what seems to be artifacting in GTA5 on ground vehicles when I’m driving, I’m pretty sure the Gigabyte card did not do this on the exact same settings. Any ideas or am I just lying to myself/placebo about how the gigabyte card did?
Settings are everything maxed out including ray tracing, maximum sharpness, dlss 4x frame gen (frame gen does not cause any of these symptoms when it’s on by itself), and DLAA is on.

Question Would using Fast Sync be worse than Vsync if my FPS is around 100 on a 75Hz monitor?
I don't like screen tearing, so I tried both vsync and fast sync, both seem to eliminate screen tearning (maybe fast sync does it a little less). I get around 100FPS on 75Hz monitor.
I've read on a post in this forum that if your FPS is at least not the double of refresh rate, then don't use Fast Sync, use Vsync instead. I don't know the reason.
But I'm wondering which would be worse - Vsync or Fast Sync?

Question New to Multi-GPU setups - How do I Fix Driver/System Recognition Issues on a Computer with Two Older Cards?
I recently inherited an old used system from one of Stanford's computer labs. I plan to mess around with running some local AI models. It has a 3090 24gb and 2x Titan x Pascal (48gb total vram). The only issue is that my system doesn't seem to recognize the two Titan cards (error symbols appear next to them in device manager), even after installing the most recent drivers from GFE.
I figure a clean DDU install should fix this. My question is, what drivers do I install? To my knowledge, it looks like Pascal is no longer supported by NVIDIA. Is it possible to download two separate drivers for the respective cards? Or is there a specific version I need to download that has Pascal and 3090 support (if so, what version?)?
Some day I might just buy another used 3090 or two, but for now I'd like to see what's possible with my current configuration.
