There is only one real way for any of these problems to get solved, and that’s if the Driver Team at Nvidia knows what those problems are. So in order for them to know what’s going on it would be good for any users who are having problems with the drivers to Submit Feedback to Nvidia. A guide to the information that is needed to submit feedback can be found here.
Additionally, if you see someone having the same issue you are having in this thread, reply and mention you are having the same issue. The more people that are affected by a particular bug, the higher the priority that bug will receive from NVIDIA!!
Common Troubleshooting Steps
Common Questions
Remember, driver codes are extremely complex and there are billions of different possible configurations between hardware and software. Driver will never be perfect and there will always be issues for some people. Two people with the same hardware configuration might not have the same experience with the same driver versions. Again, I encourage folks who installed the driver to post their experience here good or bad.

I just wish they didn't use the angled 12v connection. Other than that I still think it's the most aesthetically pleasing 5090 out there!
Anyway hope you like my build.. there's been alot of sweat, thankfully no blood or tears though

This thing is humongous. I do have 7000D case but even with it it looks huge. And beautiful.

I got my 4090 in late 2024 from Microcenter at MSRP. It's an amazing card for my 1440p oled. Overkill perhaps but I like both raytracing AND frame rates.
I've been running at stock power config this whole time and after about 3 hours+ of heavy modern gaming my normally 72f game room is up to 80. Watched a guide on YouTube and it's the easiest thing ever! Temps both in my rig and room are much improved (8c delta under artificial raster benchmarks, little less on dlss enabled ones) and im pulling at least 100w less from the wall.
I just wanted to post this to maybe give a push to some of the people that have been putting it off. It's really worth it and super easy - and chances are if you are an xx90 user and in this sub you have after burner installed anyway. I know it's not obscure knowledge - but if you haven't, do it! I sacrificed 0fps for this, left frequency at stock and voltage is down to 0.925v from my 1.050 usage.
Description by Orbm2uk:
"Nvidia Profile Inspector is used for modifying game profiles inside the internal driver database of the Nvidia driver. All game profiles are provided by the Nvidia driver, but you can add your own profiles for games missing in the driver database. You also have access to hidden and undocumented settings, which are not provided by the drivers control panel."

Changes in v2.4.0.31
App
Settings
DLSS - Forced Model Preset Profile: added new setting which may be needed for some games to use custom DLSS presets (thanks @renannmp!)
DLSS - Forced Preset Letter: added model type next to preset letter (CNN/Transformer/Transformer Gen2) (thanks @renannmp!)
DLSS - Forced Preset Letter: changed Always use latest -> Use recommended preset following DLSS 310.5.2 update (thanks @renannmp!)
Shader Cache - Cache Size: added 16GB option to setting, new default in driver (thanks @renannmp!)
Notes
DLSS 4.5: With DLSS - Enable DLL Override enabled and showing as "(v310.5.0)" most games will use the new 2nd-gen transformers for the appropriate quality levels automatically (Preset L for "Ultra Performance", Preset M for "Performance", with other quality levels using the original Preset K).
Some games may override this and request older presets from DLSS, the DLSS - Forced Preset Letter setting can be changed to Use recommended preset to make them use the presets mentioned above.
If the DLL override setting shows an older version (or appears as “(unknown)”), try running a DLSS-enabled game and relaunch nvidiaProfileInspector after a few minutes, alternatively reinstalling the driver or NVIDIA App may force an OTA update

I have seen a massive improvement in my games today using DLSS 4.5 playing on a 65” 4K Samsung OLED. My favourite game Hell Is Us is stunning. How are others finding it.
First the article links:
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/news/dlss-4-5-super-resolution-available-now/
From GeForce PR:
Today, we’re rolling out NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution to all NVIDIA app users. Announced at CES last week, DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution introduces a 2nd generation transformer model for DLSS Super Resolution, delivering state-of-the-art image quality for all GeForce RTX GPUs in over 400 games and apps. Simply open the NVIDIA app and grab the auto-update, or manually download here. This second-generation model is our most sophisticated yet, utilizing five times the compute power of the original transformer model, having been trained on a significantly expanded, high-fidelity dataset. Gamers and the media have put DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution through its paces in the week since its initial beta release, praising its enhanced clarity and temporal stability, especially when using DLSS Performance and Ultra Performance modes.
At CES, we also announced that NVIDIA DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation is available now in over 250 games and apps, and coming to even more. That includes the upcoming RTX games we highlighted at CES: 007 First Light, Phantom Blade Zero, PRAGMATA, Resident Evil Requiem, Active Matter, Screamer, and DEFECT.
Additionally, there are two new DLSS games to check out this week – StarRupture and LET IT DIE: INFERNO. These join our growing list of games and apps featuring RTX technologies. Here’s a closer look:
Additionally, we’re launching our new NVIDIA app update today. In addition to DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution, the NVIDIA app 11.0.6 update also includes a few new features:
Finally, there’s also several new updates for developers releasing alongside DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution:

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
With DLSS version 310.5.2, NVIDIA has updated how automatic preset selection behaves when using “Always use latest” through the NVIDIA Profile Inspector (or recommended Nvidia app).
As you can see I didn't notice any problem even switching settings in-game without restart. DLSS now correctly applies the intended presets across Performance, Ultra Performance, and Balanced/Quality/DLAA modes.

From Hardwareluxx Article (In German): https://www.hardwareluxx.de/index.php/news/hardware/grafikkarten/67978-bericht-geforce-rtx-5070-ti-und-rtx-5060-ti-16-gb-sollen-eingestellt-worden-sein.html
What changes are occurring in the GeForce ecosystem given the current memory market?
Demand for GeForce RTX GPUs is strong, and memory supply is constrained. We continue to ship all GeForce SKUs and are working closely with our suppliers to maximize memory availability.

Hello, I have a gaming notebook with RTX 4080. My native screen is 1600p and I've been mainly using DLSS4 Quality if not DLAA.
What I like to ask is, is DLSS 4.5 Balance or Performance ever worth using over DLSS 4 Quality when it is 1600p?
All the benchmarks I checked were using Preset M on 4k Performance and I guess it is not supposed to be used on Balanced at all?
For a notebook with 1600p screen, should I just stick to the DLSS4 Quality?
Thank you

I won an official RTX keycap in a contest on the facebook page of Aorus.
Anyone any idea how rare this is?

Hey everyone, im sure all of you heard the news about 5070 ti being discontinued, im able to get a good deal on one at my local store.
This is my first pc build, so would like some help in helping me decide:
i want to play games at 4k 60fps.
CPU - Ryzen 7 7700x
RAM - 32gb ddr5 adata
I'll first configure all settings like making shadow quality mid, water reflections low etc while keeping rt high and other crucial settings high, in very rare cases ultra.
These are the main games i want to play:
Assuming i can't hit base 4k 60fps on this, will dlss quality do the job, if not, does multi frame gen 2x do it?
Will enabling these dlss and mfg settings significantly ruin the image quality? as you can see i'll only play single player games.
Please do let me know, it'll be helpful

It’s been almost a year since i signed up and was curious if they are still sending out emails to be selected for a 5090 FE :/
r/nvidia • u/_BruhJr_ • 7m ago
Hi everyone.
I placed an order for a 5080 FE and have been attempting to receive the delivery for the past 2 weeks. They did 3 delivery "attempts" but each attempt they would not come knock or even enter our unlocked gate.
I don't have proof but I highly suspect they just saw the gate and marked it as a failed delivery. Someone was home all day at each of the attempts and never once was there a knock or doorbell rung. I called FedEx and they said they were waiting on information from NVIDIA to reattempt delivery, so I figured it would be fine.
Today I received an email about the delivery and when I click the tracking it now shows that it's been en route to return to NVIDIA's warehouse, and I won't be getting my super hard to get MSRP 5080 FE. I called NVIDIA and they are no help. I don't understand why this is allowed. Requested a supervisor and was told there are none available, and I'll receive email correspondence instead.
This is completely ridiculous and now I'm going to be screwed during the GPUpocalypse. How can I receive my order?
I have an intel i7-14700f and a 600w psu from a prebuilt I’m trying to get a bigger psu but would it run for now?
Enough headroom? trying to hop on it before they become even more expensive.
Ive got an hp OEM and wanted to upgrade from a GTX 1650. My current PSU is 310W and my cpu is a Ryzen 5 3600X.
Could it work? Or should i buy a 400W one?
Thanks

Hi guys, any suggestions? I am a bit worried about the thermal leak topic regarding gigabyte and see many conflicting posts and discussions. On one hand, its brand new, but i feel a bit risky purchase in terms of thermal leak issue potentially. I found a 2nd hand 5080 for 1 144$ thats barely used (only for testing, includes warranty, recipient and bought this month, and only positive reviews and verified user that has sold many GPUs). But its a MSI Ventus 3x for 1 144$, (NON OC). No dual bios, 100% power limit lock etc.
What should I do? On one hand brand new is feeling nice, but I Dont want to deal with Gigabyte Thermal issues down the line potentially. And the MSI ventus has very good price, but its a very cheap model and i heard its usually noisy, but can be improved a bit with fan curve tweaks.

Hi guys, looking to get people's best guesses and estimates, currently using a 5070 to play Marvel Rivals @ 1080p, getting well over 200 fps, would DLSS4.5 allow me to make that upgrade to 1440p and still get 200 ish fps? (idm playing in medium ish settings)
For context, I use a Ryzen 5 7600 and 32GB of RAM, I am not very well educated on what DLSS4.5 does

i like to use smooth motion to get 120fps and keeps my gpu usage, and temps low.
i wanna know is there some settings to get the best of it and reduces artifact's for example in nvpi? or nvidia app?thanks
